Dimitris Papaioannou is an interdisciplinary artist, having worked as visual artist, comics artist, performer, choreographer and director. The thesis is based on notes and sketches made during the preparations of STILL LIFE (2014) where I had the opportunity to work as assistant stage designer and to have a closer look on the creative process of the artist.

Such a thourough examination of the theoretical background, the influences, the obstacles and the final structure of the piece and its set design becomes a key to achieve better communication with the audience as well as serves as an inspirational handbook for all young designers and those who want to render the invisible, visible.
